to the ESC? I binded my DX6i to the AR6200 receiver using an ESC that is not
connected to a motor and I have no movement on the servos.... This is my first
electric plane and my first DX6i so I am not familiar with how everything
operates. Any help would be appreciated...

I got it figured out.... I binded the radio again and the servos are working... So, now I know
that you can run power through the ESC without a motor....

Your ESC should have 3 groups of wires. 1 for set goes to the motor, 1 goes to the battery and the last one goes to the speed input on your rcvr. As you have learned you can power up your rcvr and attach your additional servos for testing/centering whatever. When you get ready to hook up the motor make sure your Tx is on and the throttle is off, plug in the battery to the esc, then hook up the 3 leads to the motor. If when you test the motor and you find out it is spinning backward just disconnect and switch 2 motor leads. This should get your motor running in the correct direction. Take a look at Dave's beginner videos, they will be a good reference for you going forward. This forum is full of very helpful and knowledgeable folks, just ask and you will get a lot of help.

Good Luck and Welcome!

Thanks for the info Mertz42. I think I have everything sorted out now... All I
need is for Grayson to get my motor delivered...
