Halloa people

I recently ordered me a new multimeter, and offcourse I could have done a review-video on that MM itself. I though more people would be served with a 'how to' on multimeters in general though

So.. here is a video on the how & why of multimeters.. Yes, this is a beginner-instructions-video.. Experienced builders will allready know most things I sohw & explain..

Link to the MM I got myself: Mustool MT826

And here is the instructions video itself

Q.1: Why would I want a multimeter?

A: Coz I'm an electronics technician

Q.2: How do I use it?

A: I turn the switch to whatever mode I need for whatever I wanna measure and hold the probe tips to wherever the desired measurement can be extracted from.

- Without a multimeter I would never have been sure that the new USB port that I had to modify in order to have it fit on my friend's tablet mainboard was connected properly and correctly

- Without a multimeter my family and me would've spent ages of trial and error to find a short circuit caused by water that had run into a multi-socket extension cord

- Without a multimeter I would not be able to confirm that the modifications that I have to do to some PCBs at work (coz the st00pid PCB designer at the company we're building those things for keeps refusing to adapt the layout even tho it costs them AND us time and money to do the same damn modification over and over*
again) are not causing problems

Now that's what I would call a "Schätzeisen" (Schätzen means to estimate and Eisen means iron, making the literal translation "estimating iron"), just a funny term from Germany coming through.
