Not necessarily!

Make a sticky thread in the scratchbuild forum for new build tricks. Then let everyone post their new tricks in normal fashion *in their own threads*. Then only after everyone have had their say, do we post *one* entry in the sticky thread that contains the conclusions of the debate.

This to keep the sticky thread short and to the point.

An excellent example for a first post in such a sticky thread could be the recent post on how to properly locate the CG.

Only the original creator of the thread can make it a sticky thread (Aside from the forum admins) when the thread is created and over time, as new threads get added and activity subsides in a thread, they will slide away to the "Bottom of the pile" and eventually off the section...

I don't think I made myself clear:

You make the thread sticky so it wont slink away. Who creates it, when and how is only of secondary importance. The point is to have one thread, right up there before all other threads, containing the very best of all build tricks.

You then only post the *conclusions* of various discussions in the sticky thread (after having been thoroughly debated in their own threads) so that we don't dilute the information content of the sticky thread with non-information posts such as s, me-too-s and yes-but-do-they-come-in-yellow-as-well.

We already have two threads that IMHO qualify for an entry into the build tricks-sticky thread: the one about CG and the one about hot-glue.

Well, it was just a suggestion...
