Yea
I suppose everything like that comes on a slow boat outta somewhere north
Shipping/freight charges kill a lot of things here

For each can to cost more than twice as much as it costs here they'd have to be shipping like a box of 50 at a time or so, I don't think it's just the shipping that kicks the price up that high.

Painting my new SU34
Hobbyking foam reinforced with drywall tape and glue and ModPodge
Masked out underneath painted the top --mint
Take masking tape off and reapply more so I can paint the engine pods
FOAM STARTS MELTING
WTF???
ITS ModPodged
In my panic watching my beautiful engine pods melt I grabbed the drywall tape and slapped it on the melting foam
It stopped melting and loosing structural integrity--- hey I'll take a win anyway I can get it
Slapped the glue over the drywall and smoothed
All craters gone ,melting stopped
NOW HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??
Well Modpodge pulls off foam with masking tape adhesive
Who knew ???
The drywall glue fibreglass stops melting foam
If you guys out there already know this
If not its my gift to the world
Many glues have a curing agent that has benzene or something like that in it which allows it to cure quickly. It normally evaporates when exposed to air but if it is covered up it'll not evaporate but eat the foam. Think this could have happened?

No
I ModPodge the exposed foam for painting
And painted --all good
Apply masking tape for contrasting paint colours (old can't see for shit)
Off comes some paint with the masking tape (bastards bastards)
So without thinking quick touch up spray and watch the foam dissolve (big bastards bastards)
Not only had the paint pulled up but the ModPodge too----
Foam all melty like
Wife comes out to see what all the commotion and swearing was
"Thought making model planes was relaxing---"
Well she got told to fekoff in all (cheeky bag lucky I married her---)

Did you see the freight???
$3 quid each and $43 quid postage --

I`ve just looked at international post via Royal Mail and the cheapest for parcels under 2kg is £3.95 up to 16 weeks.
About £6.00 5 day delivery.
Those ebay prices are stupid.
Wot, no Depron?
