I did the maiden. Flies great at high speed but at slow I can't hold the nose up. Must be too nose heavy. I was right it is really fast. The other thing is when after the first launch I reduced the throws to 60%. I should have only reduced the ailerons and not the elevator. With the nose being heavy I would have liked more elevator to pull it around.

It's so small, it's adorable. I've got a half-built oversize Primejet that is supposed to be a test bed for my thrust vectoring mount if work ever lets up. Of course it will be well over the 250g weight.

I'm playing the same game here. Trying to find ways to make a plane under 250g AND still fit FPV gear on it. There are a slew of small EPP wings (including some cheap ones from BangGood) that might fit the bill. Got a Rainbow 800mm that should be here this week. I'm hoping to use my RunCam HD as both the recording/flight camera and if it all works as planned I'll probably pickup the Runcam 2 as it has a low-latency mode that puts it in the same league as a board cam.

Here is my attempt #2. Fixed the CG issue and it flies great. I should have tried when it wasn't so windy though. I turned out to be a torture test.
Build it, Fly it, Crash it and Build another.

It's not perfect, but it's flying well enough to be fun. Getting a plane under 250 g with a HD camera and FPV gear isn't easy. Skip to 0:40 to get to the actual flying.

Canadian drone laws,,,Even the Canadian cops think the laws are CRAZY !

Almost sounds like it is way past time for concerned Canadians to organize an effort to try and influence these draconian rules in a more favorable way towards responsible modelers/RC Pilots.
And on the 8th day God said: "Go NAVY",.. and it was good! Pray like everything depends on God. Prepare like everything depends on you.
