A pair of SU-34 V5 that my wife and I just finished. They are ready for maiden....maybe this Sunday if the weather looks good. My wife got interested in building one of the SU-34s after watching me build mine. They are the same size and I put the same electronics in them. I have them set up on two transmitters....maybe some FORMATION FLYING??? 😎😉

The one closer to the camera is my build and the one in back is my wife's.

I don't know. high flyin, I think your wife's plane looks pretty good! If I were you I'd dull down her blades a little for the next plane, if you know what I mean 😁 Glad you found the thread OK and thanks for posting. Good luck flying formation!

   PROOF OF FLIGHT!

We got to maiden my new SU-34 V5 yesterday. It was very windy, but I could not resist seeing it fly. My friend Victor is my test pilot on most of my builds. He is a much better pilot than me and he is kind enough to trim out my airplanes. I was careful to set the CG as per plan, but we think it is tail heavy, so will try to move the battery forward a little. It is nice to be able to rebalance without adding weight. The video is not the best, but does show the airplane will fly great after a little more work. We did not try my wife's as it is the same and I can make adjustments before the first flight.

I am very happy with the way it looks in the air and on the ground! Here is a link to the video:

Thanks, yes I am a lucky fellow to have a great wife. We are both retired artists, so we have different interests, but they are all important. She puts up with me playing with my RC airplanes and other hobbies.
