How do I stop tearing up DTF paper when putting plans on top
Been using a real cheap school glue stick
Some times it comes off freely other times it tears the paper
Cellotape (low tack) does the same

3M repositionable spray mount. It is expensive though.
I dab some uhu por on my finger and dab it lightly on the foam some times it sticks too well if it goes on to wet.
Wot, no Depron?

Some guys use thumb tacks. Some use staples pushed in by hand. Spray glue is best, but very sparingly.

Elmers spray adhesive works great for me. The timing can make a difference also. If you place the plan on the foam board immediately after spraying it will stick more firmly. Wait 10 or 15 seconds then apply the plan, the bond won't be as good, thus easier to remove.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Elmers or 3M, very light mist, if by chance you stuck it on to good use your heat gun and warm it up a bit. Don't melt the foam.

I've used normal scotch tape rolled over on itself to make it "double sided." Pins work too but are a hassle to cut around.
