ReDeYe
I posted this in the F-22v2 forum thought this would be a better place.

Ok I have a question. On my F-22v2 i am running my dx6i. At this point I have just elevon mixing setup under wingtail mix on the stabs. I want to set up standard ailerons with flaps and still have the elevon mixing on the stabs. Is this possible with the dx6i and 4 servos. I know i can get the ailerons but the flaps/spoilerons is what i dont think im going to get with only 4 servos. I could do this if i only did elevator in the back and elevon mixing on the ailerons but i really want to keep the elevon mixing in the rear. I dont think its possible but if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this.

If i did Yconnectors coming out of both the aileron channel and elevator channel and put elevon mixing on. Have mix 1 set to do my flaps all 4 servos will have elevon mixing and that not really what i want but that may be the only way with out 2 more serovs and splitting the ailerons in 2

glad to help you....
I discover another way to acomplish that and more simple and maybe more secure (use one external mixer( EM) too):
WING TYPE= DUALAILERON (not ELEVON)
conections:
CH1 (aileron) right aileron
CH2 (elevator) go to elevator input in EM
CH5 (gear) go to aileron input in EM
Ch6 (aux1) left aileron

MIxing program(just one is necessary)
MIX1: MAS(master)/AILE, SLV (slave) /GEAR, MIX = 100 to 120% (check this), SW (switch)/ON (always on!)
optional is use a mix to anulate GEAR channel input (because if you hit the gear switch you get a violent roll) ... something like this
MIX2: MAS/GEAR, SLV/GEAR, MIX= -100%, SW/ GEAR....in this way if you hit the Gear switch you activeate this program with negative input, in summary zero movement...

if you want than your aileron - flaps move according to elevator for tight loops (counter movement -) or hi alfa manovers(same movement +, some strange and dangerous manouvers), use the MIX2 in this routine (you can´t use the previous program):
MIX2: MAS/ELEVA, SLV/AUX1 (flap), MIX= -10to 100% (counter movement), SW/MIX- (in this way you can activate and deactivate this function)

you can use flaps in the normal way too...
the good from the other alternative is you can deactivate ailerons on wing and get better adjustment in the ailerons....the other things are the same
good luck!

is there a way to do it without the EM?

no in a Dx6i . you need at least 3 program mix.
the only way to make this config without a EM is disabling the rudder.
