where can I get plans for this plane?

Learn Google Sketchup - import the pictures from Scott's post & then you can make your own

You will end up with some rough plans & it is only then that you realise what goes into making the V2 plans!!

I built a blended wing with 'Duckerons' (a blatant copy of Scott's) and it flies great
(although I haven't dared cutting off the verticals at the end of the wings yet!! )

Scoot , I saw your wing with duckerons and I wanted to know where I can put a gyro on the diagram you drew to control the duckerons and to completely eliminate the vertical stabilizers. I admire your work. Congratulations. I await an answer. Thanks!

Referring to the wiring diagram here:

You need two gyros on the yaw axis, one on the gear channel and the other on the flaps channel.

Ok Thanks!
So looks like this?

Looks like this thread has died off. I was watching the X-36 video in RC Powers Youtube channel and was wondering what else might have been done since. Most of the folks doing flying wings without rudders are making a part of the leading edge flat to add stabilizing drag. Generally, the flat area is at the wing tip plus 2"-3". Many build the flying wing in a standard fashion using a KFm 2 and cut away a 2"x 2" triangle off the leading edge wing tip. This adds a bit more sweep back to the wing tip area, and the leading edge is flat in this area. The rest of the leading edge is rounded to reduce drag.

Made a simple, almost flat hand glider to play with that has a FireFly sort of outline without rudders and it seems to glide just fine. The back is not straight across, but hints an F-22 profile wing. Starting to wonder how it will preform when I use a thin rubber band to launch it on a windless day.

this is frustrating. Anyone have a clear from scratch way to setup duckerons with no mixers, just 4 servos off a turnigy 9x?

I tinkered around with it a bit, but ran out of mixers on the default firmware... If you flash it with OpenTX or Er9X or whatever the rest are called, there's definitely a way.
Remember though that if you use onboard mixing, you can incorporate gyros, which is a bit difficult if not impossible when you're mixing everything on the transmitter.
Build it, fly it, crash it, build another.

Don't have a turnigy, but set up system with 4 only servos using 1 DX7 radio and 2 modes.

Basically mode 1 is a mix with rudder and some other channel where you control the direction using the + or - sign(use subtrim) to center both servos.

Mode 2 is where the switch is flipped and the 2 servoes for the one rudder, the + and - sign are opposite so one goes left, the other goes right. I used left rudder to open the airbrakes so you could vary the width. The pain is try getting both rudders to open the same amount, therefore I would not use it on the wing for deflection.

I am playing with a KK2 board to accomplish this on a A-10.

Try it and see what happens.

Still no solution. Even bought 2 v-tail mixers trying to make the Duckerons work, but it refuses to work. Current setup is 1 vtail mixer on each side with a turnigy 9x. Using only channels 1 and 2 with y-splitter. Anyone have a solution to this?

I feel like I have all the hardware, but I just can't get the right combination

do you have er9x or just a stock 9x?
Cuz tooling around is just not my style of flying. Full stick and full travel control surfaces.

Did you try the mixes?

Hey guys, so most of you saw the blended wing body design I came up with a while back. Well, I modded my design by adding 2 more elevons to the plane, stacked ontop of the already existing elevons. After that, I spent an hour or so doing the mixing to get the elevons to act together for elevator/aileron control then SPLIT for yaw control! I can also split both at the same time for airbrakes. Man, this works PERFECT, tell me what you guys think.

GREAT SCOTT MAN I THINK YOU'VE GOT IT!!!!!! great Job.
