I have already built a kit from Hacker, the Vagabond XL, and now I am slowly building a Fox from the same brand (high quality kits).

Both kits use very thin and flexible carbon rods, 1,5 mm, I was quite sceptical of what strength they would add to the build.

They are used in pair one in each side of the surface they reinforce, and once glued the EPP foam is very stiff. I believe they work in tension - compression, and transform your foam in a sort of sandwich material. Their flexibility allow you to reinforce curved shapes, like a fuselage from end to end.

Take care not to warp the piece you reinforce (weights and wedges to avoid warp while  glue dries).

You may want to try on your builds.
