Wow, thank you for your kind words! I can't say enough good things about the mig 29 v2! And the Ntm motor is perfect for it, except for the fact that it will blow the elevons off of it! Haha. So don't push it! A lot depends on what you are looking for. I built the planes that looked cool when I started out without thinking too much about flight characteristics. Now I think about what the flight carachteristics are first. For example, I put off building the f35v2 because I wasn't too pleased with the performance of the v1 plane. Didn't matter what it looked like. But now that I forced myself to build it I am very impressed! What kind of flying do you want to do? You've done the f22 I think ? The f35 v2 would be a good second choice. A refined f22 imho. The f18 needs to have full controls like boxermad's in order to really perform. I think the mig with 2 servos outperformed the f18 on 6.
The Boxermad84 F15 is a really nice plane - i built a 120 % edf version that I promptly crashed! But it is a little smaller and easier to build than the mig 29 v2. It has very good manners-like the mig in many ways but maybe a bit more stable. Of all the planes I built, though, my 2 favorite production planes I love to fly are the mig 29 v2 and the Boxermad84 SU 37. Both are outstanding at aerobatics. The mig 29 v2 is super maneuverable, the su37 is a bit less aerobatic but more stable due to the stretched nose. My favorite non production plane is the Boxermad84 alpha jet. It's just spectacular! 1 night to build, and a blast to fly.
Did that help? Since you are almost ready to fly the f35v2
You can fly that and build the mig 29 v2 or boxermad84 F15?

I saw that Boxermad had a su30 profile build......didn't see a build for su37 though.I must have missed it!?I'm going to look now!

Got the V2 back in the air...this is a 2012 bird that JMD had that caught fire...after this flight, the motor came loose (old mounting board) and it floated safely down..I have since upgraded to a larger standard 2200kv motor and 6x4 prop. Should be much better...but as far as fliers..this bird is Soo stable...

Awesome, Chip! That really was a spectacular plane. Does it still smell like burning wires?

the mix of buring depron..testors paint...esc...wire and silicone sheath...and whatever else melted was unreal..i had to have the plane in the back of the car the rest of that day....and i left the windows open...it didn't help...the smell wasn't gone for WEEKS...yuck
