Better all a round, stiffer, less drag, right there in the power zone that your looking for with only a prop change, bigger battery bay for the changes you may want in the future

and a better presence in the air and the faster you go the more presence you want. A bunch of us around here did the pre-ordered when these launched and we all still keep one.
"Q" when you just gotta have a fun fast ship

Flew it today with the 6x4 prop on the 3000kv motor. Only on 3S though. At 55 seconds I make a speed pass. It is a great flying platform. I will get a speed test with the 4S pack later.

Just thought I'd circle back to this. My original one that I built from parts eventually died....in an inverted pass the battery ejected, taking the esc with it through the prop....I was lucky enough to be gifted another one recently. After a lot of successful and fun flights with it over the weekend with Newt and the FRC Foamies crew, I gave it a fresh coat of paint and new 3d printed motor mount.  Did a little digging and this great bird has been left behind...the new evolution model, which is super sexy, is also kind of pricey. I will get some videos to add to the collection soon.

Chip, you ought to ask Jay to design something similar in sketchup for depron or foam board, it wouldn`t cost that much🙂
Wot, no Depron?

I could...but they have some other things coming up that up that I don't want to slow down...if I really felt like it, I could layer some foam up and make a sanded clone...for now though, this one will do...toying with adding rudders to this one...but I'm hesitant as I don't want to ruin it's current flight characteristics...
