Look what came in the mail, my parts from HK!!! But a question about the Propdrive 2200kv motor. Can I use a 7x5 prop on a 3 cell with out it over heating and how will a 6x5.5 do. Would start building if my foam came in BUT the UPS guy forgot to drop it off, now I have to pick it up on monday RAAAAGE !!!Thanks for help could not find a could answer on this one.

I used the 7x5 on mine and it had really good thrust and stayed pretty cool. The 6x4 prop did nothing, so my guess is that the 6x5.5 will be just Ok. I'd definitely go with the 7x5. I used my 60 amp esc for a good machine of safety, but I think 50 amp esc would work too.

I use a 6x4 on my NTM 2200kv and i flies great. I have not tried a 7X5 and might do so. F1Wanabe, is it a big difference? Alex

I have an Ntm 2200 on my desk and it can not handle an apc 7x5... it pulled 63.7 amps and got hot.... If you can try a 7x4 and let me know what happens

The 7x5 was not hot for me, but if you are concerned, try the 7x4. I found what felt like identical performance on that. The 6x4 on ntm felt no different than a smjv2, so I felt the extra weight wasn't justified. Airflow has a thrust test posted for the 7 inch props.
