Just got my prop drive in the mail.

My question is about the little washer that comes in the accessory pack.

Is it just a spacer for smaller props?

If I recall correctly, it helps your prop clear the adapter. I put it between the adapter and the prop. The cone needs to bite the prop directly.

That's tight, dtribby. The prop "hub" will not sit flat on the adapter if that washer is not in place. You first put washer on (I put beveled side out) then prop then nut.

Not really. Just pushes the prop away from the prop adapter far enough for the prop to clear so you can get a good tightening on it.

Sent from my R5-D4 astromech droid - for as long as its motivator keeps working.

Ok, so the beveled side of the washer goes on facing the motor or the prop?
