Nice. I love a good blue Angels paint job.

thanks, thought about normal grey colour and some panel lines but I’ll be flying her like she’s waiting on the rest of the angels to catch up lol might put some writing on her later but for now she’s ready for electrics 😃🎮✈️💫💥🔥

Beautiful looking F18, nice work! For the flying  I do the front edges did not limit speed.BBut if all out speed is what you want, I'd ad a kf4 Airfoil to it for better speed and added stability. Kf4 works like magic in windy conditions too!

thanks, thought about the kf4 but think I’ll just use the f18 for slow to mid speed aerobatics as I have the mig v5 with kf4 for all out screaming fast speed on 4s 2700kv 6x4 prop 😂😂 and dam she’s quick that’s why she’s yellow lol
The su I use for those windy day which we have more than our fare share of them 😭😭😭

Where's the photo of your plane with the twin motors, btw i'm thinking sunny day clear skies and your Blue Angel will be difficult to see, lol you might end up putting a lot more yellow on it same as I have had to do with the EuroFighter V5. See you down the flying field when the weather turns better, probably about June the way it looks right now, should have a few more planes to show off myself and can't wait to see your F18 in the air.

V5 complete 😍
thought about more decals however I couldn’t wait to get her up in the sky.
hooked up 2700kv motor, 2200 4s 45c, 6x4 CF prop, 2x9g servos, 35amp ESC
and she flies great, tracks on rails 🤪

What a great plane to fly, I've flown mine once so far,  waiting for the wind to calm down, need to film it. I sure like the V5's for small areas to fly. Two servos for elevons only, 2200mah battery and supersonic 2200kv motor from grayson hobby, Keep it light.

Just finished the livery for mine. Rudders, elevators and ailerons. Lowered leading edges instead of kf's. 1900kv 2306 motor with APC 6x4EP, 1300mAh battery and 30A esc. Flies good even at sloow speed. ðŸ˜ƒ

Looks beautiful, Linken711! Excellent detail. With that motor you could possible get away with a 7x3.8 WSF prop if you loke slow flying. This is my favorite RCPowers plane to fly with flaps. Really tools along slowly- almost floats- with flaps!
