Bench tested set up throws on a FT Charlie
All working OK all going the right way
Hand launch plane starts to fly
Go to pull up full power nose first into the ground -- destroyed
Picked my jaw up off the ground then the pieces
Plugged battery back in to find the trans had defaulted my servo reverse on elevons only
But bench test OK throws augmentation all OK it happened after launch the trans had forgotten the presets
Anyone else seen this struck this
(This happened once before @ a year ago same but managed to land it)

Stupid question did you check it just before you launched it?

What happened to me once doing the pre-flight  checks and ele was wrong so into the tx and reversed it so all good. Just before I launched I noticed I wasn't back into the main screen and the way I backed out of the screen I did it wrong so it didn't save my change and I did just like you and drilled it.

I have also had one event where mixes reset themselves, are you running the stock firmware or did you do the upgrade?

I also discovered that it is important not to have any glue covering the ends of my receiver antennae, tape is fine, but glue seemed to have caused me some issues in reception and how the plane responded to inputs.

glue on the antennae ends strikes true wont do that again (all my glued antennae planes are no longer living)
iam standard FlySky firware/programming
but have noted trims alter for time to time and i have to be careful setting up my limits subtrims etc and be sure i save in a certain proceedure then i always go back and check everything at least once apart from that good system
