Yeap on a bent piece of scrap Adams board wow twist it much---

As it dries it will shrink the paper so It sounds similar to doing the brown paper deal, you have to do both sides so when it dries it shrinks evenly on both sides. Another test piece but this time on both sides of the foam, .

That's weird, I haven't done a plane in brown paper but I did a bunch of test pieces and they all came out relatively flat. I never bothered doing the plane as it just seemed like to much work and big mess.

Yea big time I used the worst board to experiment on it
Cutting the board paper lifts off
Taken paper off both sides and sheet goes flat

Wonder if is the type of paper or does the water base versus the oil base shrink the paper more. The only foam board I have ever used is from Staples and I peel the paper off. Sorry if I led you in the wrong way.

its all experience
The DTF board I got appears to be reject grade that's why it ended up here in NZ
