The art of not crashing is simply missing the ground - if you do it right it looks great but it's always worth carrying a bin bag just in case 😉
Whoever said nothing is impossible had obviously never tried slamming a revolving door...

I think my best 'no-crash-streak' is only four or five, so far.

I've met another flyer recently and he was having so many failed take off attempts that I was wondering he was a newbie making the mistake of starting on a war bird (He's been messing with 3D printed props on a smallish A-1 from Hobbyking). So I asked if it was his only plane, and nope! Turns out he has a couple IL-2s, an FW-190 and they've all had a good share of flights and crashes haha!

The best you can do is mitigate flaws and reduce the chance of crashing. But even then, I've noticed the more controllabe the plane, the more risks I take. lol

Shame about the Zohd. I would try messing with the CoG and the old RC powers trick of making control surfaces and stabilisers bigger.

If it really doesn't want to work as a flying wing, you could turn it into a twin-boom plane. That way, you'll still have your lights and FPV set up but also be able to enjoy flying it! 😃

Oh also, there's a user on here called Bogusbandit. He's done a few flying wings, so he might have some tips. I haven't seen him on here since I came back, though.

The cog on it is spot on, it has marks below showing exactly where and it sits absolutely flat on my wing jig with a 2200 3s in the nose, I actually had to add more nose weight as it was still tail heavy with just a 2200 3s lipo in it, no the problem was it started flipping about like I was giving it some serious input when I was not doing much and only trying to get it onto the ground in the well you saved that manner, it was heading into trees and I though enough and just cut the power and let it drop into the ground, I'm pretty sure it's a servo problem but still not looked at it because I'm still Pi**ed off about it.
I'm not buying any more pre builds as you don't get to test everything before you put it in, you don't get to pick your favourite reliable stuff, you don't get to add that extra power and in the end it all costs more for less, apart from looks as most prebuilds are really well finished these days, nah I'm gonna build one of the V5's next, not sure which one yet, I'm hoping for some input here if anybody has built and flown them all, priority is stable in high alpha, and precision in turning with very good stability, don't want something that just keeps climbing when there is a small breeze.

Thank you very much for that clip of my F16 bro , pity about that gusty little wind I was having trouble getting to sit level in alpha until I discovered a little left rudder stopped it but that was after you took that small movie
😋👍
Also a pity I left my Highlander parked on top of one of the big fir trees ðŸ˜®ðŸ˜– ðŸ˜ŸðŸ˜ ðŸ˜¡
