I have been launching my planes in the cold weather without gloves on for a while now and finally I decided to get a Turnigy TX glove to keep the TX and my hands warm while flying. So the first time I used it, I had the TX in the glove, along with my left hand so I could turn up the throttle for the launch. I launched the plane with my right hand and went to grab the stick only to realize very quickly that I needed to get my hand through the small hole on the glove in order to get to the stick. So there the plane was, slowing going toward the ground while I was frantically trying to get my hand into the glove hole. I did actually manage to pull the plane up in time to save it from crashing. It all happened in about 3 seconds, but it felt like 30.

So just a friendly reminder to others who try these TX gloves for the first time. If your reaction is to throw the plane and grab your TX in one motion, you may need to train your brain a little differently with the glove. I knew I had to get my hand into the glove, but my reaction just wanted to grab the stick and my brain was fighting my reaction.

Easier solution...just bring a friend with you to toss the plane.
