How did you build it?
Did you build a plywood section cut frame and plate it with foam? How did you get the foam to bend and attach? Did you glue the plate edges together? How do you keep the wing from folding, just wood?
If it can not fly with NiMH it is not a plane.

I believe it's a method where you cut the foam in sections from front to back. Then you laminate all of them together and sand to shape.

So it isn't hollow? Would not that make it too heavy? 25 lb perhaps? There must be some wood frame in it to give it strength.

Nope all hollow. This guy is a true builder. He's done many builds like this and posted them here. This build shows the method of cutting 1-2in. sections and laminating them together http://www.rcpowers.com/community/threads/f15e-1800mm-tetris-bukvorez.11550/
