Man the wind can really cause some issues. I have been upside down like that before no fun waiting for it to drift back but at least the electronics usually stay dry only a wet wing

yes, I am amazed it didn't fry all the electronics. I pulled the battery, and let it dry out for a week or so, crossed my fingers connected the battery, all was good.

They are fun on floats I have a set that I just took off to put on the gear now I need to find something else to mount them on.

From the picture the fuselage looks intact, build a new wing and repair the elevator.

I was just checking at hobbyzone and they still have the wings and tail kit for around 30 bucks. The tail and wing where really brittle but 30 bucks isn't bad to get it back in the air

Man I started a new job now I am in the hole digging back out so it will be a few weeks before I can get the cub back up and running. Luckily spring is just kicking off couldn't tell by the weather here snowing and blowing trying to break all the new budding trees. I should be up and running by summer though

I am going to dollar tree and grabbing some foam board and build my own wing and tail feathers I guess it will be a clipped wing cub when i get done because it will be a 40 inch wing span instead of the stock 47 inch. I'll post some picks later this evening.

I ended up building another wing for the cub the first one would stall and dive straight down with anymore than 1/4 power so i designed this one it is like my alpha 450 wing, not a traditional cub but looks good.

I dodged a couple of thunderstorms and tried out the new wing on the cub it flies and has tons of lift but it flies through the air like a dolphin up and down I don't know if the tail needs to be bigger for the horizontal stab or what not the funnest plane to fly anymore.

Took the cub out today and put a battery through it trimmed it out and had a nice flight it has a ton of down elevator to fly flat but that's the way she likes it
