They were really helpful when I contacted them. They didn't say anything about why it happened, but they sent the transmitter that day with UPS Second Day Air! It came in perfect condition two days later.

I have nothing against hobbypartz, it's actually not a bad company when it comes to service and responsiveness, but I dislike their inventory and wish they would stock cooler stuff maybe they are limited by the factories and distribution network they deal with. Hobbypartz seems to carry things other places don't, but it doesn't mean it's good stuff. Their shipping time to my place is about average for all vendors I deal with, not super fast but not like the slow boat from china either. The guys in the videos are kinda funny/lame sometimes and I wish they knew more about what they are talking about before making how-to videos. Just remember these guys are there to make money, they are not here to help you, or sell you the best gear at the fastest rate...they are all competing with each other for slim margins. Hobbypartz (and all their sister URLS) are about middle of the road when it comes to vendors and that's not a bad thing, it actually means they haven't had enough bad reviews to be considered bad, but I think their product choices keep them from being a top contender. Based on what I have seen of the dudes on the youtube, it's understandable that they do not have most things I need. A good analogy would be to call them "what banana hobby could be", most of the airplanes in stock are the same anyway (crap).
