I got all the assembled planes out on my back yard today, I have a Durafly Old Crow Mustang still in the box, 3 x Hobbyking Mig 29's still in the boxes, and another yellow Hobbyking Arctic Cat still in the box.
Another SU 34 all cut and ready to assemble so thats 6 in total not in the photo's.
Got the plans printed for a J20, a Saab Gripen and a Mig 29
I'm just wondering people who live for cars are petrol heads ðŸ˜‚
Now I seem to be like that with small fast depron planes so does that make me a foam head ðŸ™„ or a foamie ðŸ˜

lol Solent i'd have way more planes if I didnt keep giving them away, yup just worked it out gave away another 7 planes, most of them uncrashed and in perfect condition, 3 of them to different guys just starting out with rc flying,  and a mate of mine who likes fiddling/fixing things has benefited hugely from planes I didn't like to fly with another 4 going to him,
Then there is all the planes I have crashed which were perfectly fixable but I just bust them up for parts, esc, servo's, receivers, wiring plenty of reasons, I'd probably be near your total or within 10 anyway.
If you find a decent shrink to cure you please pass him onto me next, that back yard is what my back bedroom looks like when they are all in there.

Its funny that back in the 70 .. 80's in UK ... I never had so many. I think with Glow engines, analogue radios, build from balsa - you 'valued' single models more.
Back then I had a reasonable sized hangar compared to many others :

Wot4
Mirage 2000
Couple of Slopers
Tiger Moth
Spitfire Mk21
FW190
Mini Pitts
Sopwith Strutter
Skymaster biplane
Nieuport 28
P51 Mustang
Club 20 RM Racer
Midget Mustang 40 Pylon

21 powered Heli

Boats : County Class Destroyer, Spearfish Powerboat, 505 sailboat, Police Boat

Cars : 12th indoor racer, Tamiya Porsche

Blimey - I was doomed then !!

Yeah when it was fuel or nothing I didn't have many either, a Spitfire with a OS40 motor, a WW1 mono plane fighter I built cant remember the motor but I'm sure it was a 40 as well
A Cessna with a 20 thunder tiger motor it was cheap and cheerful worked fine though, until i clipped a phone wire and halfed the wing,
A couple of control line models, a Bandito and something else both 5cc motors, more than enough powe,r
and lastly 4 foot K.D Perkassa torpedo boat and yup all treasured
But all of them slimy with burnt fuel and stinking , only the garage to keep them in, yes electric power is way better, no mess, no smell, cheap to buy now
and the models are small and compact so it's easy to have lots of them.

KD Perkasa .... was that the MFA one ? You could have anything from a 60 glow up to a Zenoah gasoline engine in ....

I always wanted one !! but local shop only had the MFA Spearfish - which I fitted a water cooled Merco 60 and pipe into ... loved it !

I can't remember the manufactuturer, it was basically a bare fibre glass hull and some light ply and a really good set of build instructions, I had an OS water cooled engine, that was my favourite brand back then and I mostly only bought them, I do remember it used to just pop right up on the plane as soon as I jabbed the throttle, it was quick.
I actually swapped that for a shotgun along with the radio equipment it was a good deal for me at the time., I might have a look and see if I can find photos of it, it was scale and painted properly, I even bought the bofors gun and lewis machine guns, they were made of resin also scale size, I made all the handrails from light brass wire, it was a work of art to look at.
I just looked it up and no mine was not MFA it was the Precedent- KD Perkassa model

Sorry - you're right ... Precedent !

The Spearfish was MFA ... but the Perkasa was Precedent. It was a real nice model ... they had options for torpedo tubes and all sorts for it ... the full kit was quite expensive ...

I bought the starter pack then spent a fortune buying stuff and a lot of time making stuff, nowadays I'd just buy it all and glue it together, I have another half built boat right now, it's a girl class tug based on a boat that was in Hull harbour called Alice, it's actually nearly complete, I got nearly everything done it's just a glue and resin job followed by paint.

I was given a Bat Boat ... with burnt out brushed motor ... guy tried to run it on a 3S lipo - it went PHUT and smoke !! So I ripped out the motor and fitted a water cooled BL and water cooled ESC. 2S is adequate ... 3S is maniacal ! It needs trim tabs as it leans to one side when running ... I've put weights in one side to try correct it ...
