1) Take any plane that has airflow across the three control surfaces.
2) Install gyro(put in head hold).
3) You can instantly hover.

So, in about a few minutes, you should be hovering. Result, you and the airplane look real good.

As I have mentioned, I decided to use the kk2 board only to assist.
1) It works very well with multi engines, both prop and EDF's to sync and provide thrust vectoring turns.
2) Presently, working on my VTOL and vertical ascension looks like it is going to work. The motors are syncing(that's the main trouble) now and having fun with this project. It kicked my butt on three different attempts, but now that the gyro programming is simplified, it hopefully will assist me in getting it flying.

So, now you can "cheat"(as squishy says) and do things that would take quite awhile learning the hard way or take the assist way, and use the gyro to assist on projects that would not normally be flown by a human.
So, scratch builders, this might get your pet project into the air.

1 Take any plane
2 Put propeller in front of the plane
3 You can instantly hover (without any gyro)

I really want to see ,some of your personal high tech projects ,and just to shear that all modern planes in the real world use flight controller (Fly By Wire) that's mean that ,all pilots are cheaters and you guys are the real deal !

Can you share your settings for the KK2? I wanna play too.

All I am trying to say is there is a new tool out there to help you will make your contraption/s actually fly. As for flying, I used the word "cheat" for I know squishy will comment and give his version, interpretation of using gyro, accelerometers etc since he discussed that in another thread. Do I care how you fly? My answer, Different strokes for different folks.

First of all, looking at the video, that plane just abouts control itself. Now try that on some projects that I have seen.
How about Dave's Powers 2 prop Stol? Scott's BWB without rudder? "duckerons" Now you guys can play with canards and deflect the heck out of them and do your high alpha. I personally have about 4 different projects that at least I have a chance to build and fly using a kk2.

You want to see my personal high tech projects. Go to Youtube and from there, almost every project I've done is defined here(do a search). Thrusters to X wings, scotch tape on EDf's, will explain my views if you care to hear it.
Way back, I flew heli's without gyros, and very few people even tried. Along came gyros(mechanical, electronic), look at the sport now. Hope other's venture to try kk2.

Haven't tried the 3D settings yet. I did yaw with multi engines (prop and EDF) using TV and I have the beta version dealing with VTOL's. Willing to share what I have done .
