Turns out the Mig 29 is near enough exactly like the Mig35, only difference visually is the 35 has four pilons for weapons each wing.
So the RC powers Mig 29 V4 is gonna be my new toy soon but called a Mig 35 V4 once I glue some missiles on the bottom, 8 of them ðŸ˜‹

A little bit of filler and a lot of paint and it's done, one RC powers MIG29, or MIG35 if I put the eight missle pilons on the bottom of the wings.
Hopefully get a test flight tomorrow before painting.

Update on the Mig, straight off the work bench and right in the air, no trimming necessary, it flies great.
I'm very happy with this one, really quick with the 28-36 2700kv propdrive motor and a 6x4 bullnose prop, turns like it's on rails too, well done rc-powers on another great design ðŸ˜ŠðŸ‘

Absolutely lovely shadey, can't make up my mind what I like best your Eurofighter or the Sukhoi ðŸ˜

I just started a J20 which is gonna be thrust vectoring for those insane turns, the build is not that complicated but if I'm looking for a decent paint finish there is going to be a lot of filler going on it, it's all seams and angles. ðŸ™†

Just waiting on my new twin motors and matching esc's coming from Hobbyking , filler on for the second time in the photo, a quick rub down then on with the paint, not sure how I will paint it but it's gonna be dark to match my mood Ã°Å¸ËœË†
Since the lockdown started I have built a Steve Shumate F15 Eagle in the desert storm colours, an RCpowers Eurofighter V5 painted like a wasp, a Highlander , a Mig 29 V4, and now this J20 don't want to give credit to another site on this forum so it's un-named Ã°Å¸ËœÂ
Come on guys ShadeyB has posted a couple of nice fresh builds on this thread, lets see those lockdown Covid planes Ã°Å¸â€˜Â

Okay so just got around to building a plane I have fancied for a while, it's a Steve Shumate Saab Jas 39 Gripen, however I thought it was a little small after I printed the plans so went in and printed them again at 130%
The size seems just right now and the build is ongoing, active cannards on this, I did link them via the elevons on a Y piece but found the forward throws a bit extreme so I relented and put them on a 3 postition switch where by I can activate them to sit in high alpha better, also got a full rudder control which i find helps in alpha too, stops that annoying roll off to one side and makes it steerable too, so figure of eight in high alpha anybody  ðŸ˜‹
