Jeff....that is a super fast plane....it screams!!!!!

It cruises, most of that was at 2/3 throttle, the couple verticals were at 100% and those were the ones you or I should say I lost camera angle to follow it.

Drag increases with the square of speed, so to be really fast the best solution is to reduce drag by all means, not to try to increase power.

Nothing beats a flying wing for efficiency.

Bob in the HO229 building thread in this site gave a link to a Nasa study of airframes, very interesting. FW were found to be 30 % more efficient than conventional airframes.

Only flew motor FW with KF4 (B2 and Ho229), and they were very fast, so imagine the Gotha of bogusbandit56 with a profile wing.

My Bee 2 glider with an elaborate wing profile is an astounding slope soaring glider.

Cheers.

This was just light flying with mine, it rocks. Mine is with a prop slot and I have an optional elevator also for a little more control. Handles wind no problem.

Almost unbelievable....beautiful...superb!!

The Bee 2 is sold under the name Wicked Wing by Hobby King, but she is a Bee 2 from Windrider (1,2 m wingspan).

She is completely covered with 2 inches fiber glass reinforced tape, and there is a heat shrink cover to enhance looks.

Ailerons are balsa covered with laminating film.

I don't record my flights, but I have a picture of her.

She is a combat wing glider, I use her a slope soarer on a very rough slope (from 23 to 30 Oz depending on wind strength and ballast used).

She has survived incredible crashes against rocks.

Highly recommended.
