That's nothing.

The demise of mine, not much to see in the video other then the aftermath Little duct tape on the front so the rx wouldn't fall out.

Where is the battery placement on that wing. Get it as low as possible even if it means modifying it.

The compartment is almost to small for the battery, Leigh and I already modified the canopy plus added a cowl underneath for the esc. Mine has lots of room now.

man that wing exploded wildthing I know how you feel, If i get a 3D printer I am going to be up the creek I would be building non stop.

My new wing is all ready to fly now - sadly the weather says otherwise...

Should have the new revision coming through soon with larger elevons and battery bay among other changes. Designer has taken on board all my little tips and should make a real gem of a small wing once it's set up.
Will see when I get the files over to print....

This is what it looks like when you fly with the CG too far back. Lesson learned and re-balanced before next flight...

Little wobbly on the start but after that it didn't look to bad, probably just wasn't a relaxed flight. Also tried to take out the parachutist didn't you???

Overcame imbalance with power

I've had to pull out a few times from a wide pass after seeing a parachutist drifting over our way. Still prefer to stay with the plane myself though...

Hi Guys,
I suppose I shud start a new thread but reckon it would be OK to talk about the GASB Two in here. Having got a taste for edf with the Euro I got sucked in to trying to make the edf GASB. I managed to print out all the pieces (a couple I had to do twice but still couldn't get rid of the errors - same place both times so probably something in the STL file). Initially I found it hard to get the infill in the right place until I realised he had been using the CURA slicer and not SLIC3R. Too lazy to go back and reprint the 4-5 pieces where I said near enuf is good enuf Next print will be better. I'm not sure one perimeter gives enuf strength to the structure and every time I hold it or try to move something, I hear that ominous sound of cracking. Did u guys hv similar problems/concerns with the ONE?
Weather must be merde all over the planet. Winds haven't come down enuf to go out for my maiden. If it survives and I manage to get video will post. Couple of pix attached.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

I found there was a definite improvement after I upped my print temps. Definitely made a stronger bong between the layers and the second GASB-1 I printed is massively strong compared to the original one.
Looking forward to seeing the maiden of this one though

I have started one of these little GASB wings although I intend to build my own wings in depron or hot wire from blue foam.

Kamikaze is the word that springs to my mind when I look at this design.
Have you flown it yet?

Well, what have we here? A messy desk and a partially finished GASP Two. @blkbaron did you ever fly yours?

Such little wing area, and an EDF...the original designer uses a bungie launch to get airborne and I doubt hand tossing is going to cut it so I've slightly modified my version to use landing gear. Hopefully finish printing tomorrow and maybe get a chance to fly this weekend.

Build finished. Just need the weather to cooperate. Comes in about 100g heavier then recommended due to gear, 4s and probably a little heavier prints.
