Had the opportunity to see FED5OH's SP3 and really wanted one of my own. Jay was kind enough to hook me up with the plans and he and FED5OH gave me some build tips - the rest is history!

This is the fastest and most stable-at-speed plane that I have ever built and flown. Only eight pieces and a very simple build.
I used Depron , FoamTac and epoxy. Hinges are the "Father and Sons" mesh tape style. Used 2mm carbon for push rods. Only reinforcement is the double layer of Depron in the KF2 pieces.
Power supplied by a 1800mah 4S, 40amp esc, and a Focal Price 2700kv motor spinning a 4.75 x 4.75 APC prop.
It looks, flies and handles a lot like a Stryker but at a fraction of the cost.

Nice. Easy and quick to build. Tons of performance for time invested in building. Easy to transport. Great flying.

This is what One of my eflite 3200kv motors is going on to. It's my own creation, still in progress like its brother next to it They are a Ravanger Warship + a Nova Prime Starship...from the movie....Guardians of the Galaxy. The Ravanger warship, on the left, has a similar wing signature as your build, in my opinion. , very cool. Great minds think alike Rock On Guys!! JohnnyB. Got a quick flight in today. The SP3 was feeling neglected.

Hey Luke, I agree with you . The ear worked real good with nitro. I think it works just as good with electric also. I would say that it's a kin to, out of harmonic balance, "don't sound right".

Time to wake up the SP3 again. It has been hanging out quietly waiting for me to pick it up again. Such a quick build that really performs. On 3s, it is zippy and fun...on 4s, the narrow wing span really makes it a handful. 3200kv heli motor. I realized I haven't flown it in a really long time...

Easiest plane I own to transport....fun to cruise around with, but can really perform when the throttle is pushed....

I believe this plane has undergone the longest development period of any of our planes
