She is such an unusual looking craft. I find it quite attractive for that reason alone. I have yet to put the top skin on. I planned to use 3mm.

Neat plane and now to color it something.
Fly like your mad at it.

Got it together this weekend. Doesn't seem like the weather will be cooperating though...but, with it's flight characteristics, I'm pretty confident I could get a quick maiden in, in front of the house...this bird is a performer...I opted for a 6 blade multirotors prop...it is a lot quieter, but felt like it had nearly the same about of thrust as the 6x4.  It is the standard 2212, 2200kv motor...

Looks good. Some of those 4 and 6 blade props I found good thrust but they were amp hungry.

Love, love, love it....it just performs...effortlessly....2212, 2200kv motor...5x3, 6 blade gemfan prop I believe...really cuts down on the decibles...around 25 Amps at WOT...

What a great flight, Chip! Love the sound of the 6 blade but more importantly, looks like the thrust comes in nice and smooth to prevent torque roll! Can't wait to see that in person!
