Hi Butch1953. I'm using 2 of it. 1 for testing my own builts, the other one to train other people to use it. One good yet most affordable TX I've ever used. And it's quite reliable as I haven't got any issues yet. Hopefully not, as long as I'm using it

Other TXs I use are Turnigy 9x Pro and Futaba 10J.

Hello Butch, I would not hesitate.I have two of these . They have most of the needed bells and whistles. Have twenty model memory , mixes.Only thing,if your gonna store a bunch of models , you better know which is what before you try to fly, cause if you select the wrong one ,----you know what's gonna happen EH? Seriously, a good bang for the buck.Flying los, I've never had a loss of control. Another plus is , recievers are only 11.00 bucks.

Going to buy this great deal also buying to more receivers at the same time.
Question I always like to use a receiver battery is it a good idea.

Butch , An idea, but, more weight and I really haven't seen the gain. I bounce back and forth between 10 and six kids for flying . Needless to say I haven,t the time to get really nitt picky about things and still try to keep the guys in the air.I have had real good lucky luck just with the bare escentials . Have enough trouble trying to keep the mains charged, much less a couple of extra batteries . Just my look at things , maybe I'm all wet though. Main thing is to know your up time ,and land accordingly.Could be a good idea, BUT,, I really don't think you need it. I've stayed up tooooo long sometimes, motor quit, still had control to land . All I can say. I really like this radio.BUT, follow your gut feeling.

Yepp, have one too as real cheapy with it's cheap as chips receivers, telemetry and a 10 channel mod that also comes with a timer that starts with settable throttle percentage or a channel of your choice. The standard internal voltage telemetry can be moddified to show external voltage on iA6 and iA6B.
http://www.tomtop.com/other-toys-1179/p-rm6387.html
In german warehouse incl. iA6 RX, transmitter bag and neckstrap for 35.99 USD.
It is labled as Gool RC but if you look at the FCC ID you will see that the radio and all other stuff has the same original FlySky IDs like the Eachine, RangeX and others too.
For full range, more mixes etc. I have also a Taranis X9D+.

If you need a better manual in your language, you can download one for the Reely HT-6 what's also only a labled one:
https://www.conrad.de/de/reely-ht-6-hand-fernsteuerung-24-ghz-anzahl-kanaele-6-inkl-empfaenger-1310037.html#downloadcenter
The manuals from this german shop housebrand are made by germans, so not "chinglish" or translated from chinese -> chinglish -> third language -> ... by google xD

I don`t think you can go wrong with that set-up, as there are plenty of folk that can help you out with it on the forum. If I were going for a budget 6ch set up I would definitely go for this.
I swapped my orange module and Rx`s for flysky and they have never missed a beat.
As someone has already said make sure you have the model set to the right program as there is no wrong model saftey feature.
Wot, no Depron?

Btw. it works great with this NI-ZN 1.6v rechargable batteries:

I'f your LiPo charger can do storage charge, just load 2 in series (3.8v) and you don't need a special charger for them.

I'm sure if you want you can find them at other shops too, the main thing is that you know now that you don't have to buy a special and expansive charger for them and using rechargables is even better than producing a lot of alkalines for the trashcan, what's bad for your budget and earth.
One charge will work as long as a fresh set of alkalines and other than NI-MH they will give you the full voltage from full to discharge, so when you get the voltage warning of the radio you should come in to change TX batteries.
You should also think about the 10 channel mod, the real benefit is the flight timer (presetted to start with channel 3 / throttle) and no limitation in telemetry voltage settings that the stock firmware have.

I use a 9x and when I'm going elevons only, I use a 3ch receiver. Cheap like borscht. Last one I got was $7. I believe it's meant for ground but whatever! Works for me. I believe it will bind with your i6!
