My hawk sky is my camera plane, it is just so nice to use till i get something like a skywalker..but that darn stock motor worked great for me, gave me enough power to fly it comfortably but nothing above that. But that darn pressure fit prop was what made me take appart my f1 hydro...since the prop is pressure fit, the hole in it is tiny and you cant balance it...i got sick of having waves in my gopro video EVEN WITH 3 half scotchbright pads underneath the camera and one on top...so i flew it for the first time tonight with the microjet....why didnt i do this 4 months ago... it flies, literally under 1/4 throttle with my gopro hero 2 and a 2200mah 3s on it and it can go vertical. There are no waves in the video at all with only one half scotchbright pad under it... If you want your hawk sky to become a beast, put a microjet or equivalent motor on it...you wont regret it.
Now the hawk sky alone is a pretty stable platform, but i added a orange gyro board v2 and it makes it a rock, its crazy stable. $50 and you have a new plane.
Crashing is part of learning. If you don't have any, it's like getting an F
