This thing has been hanging on my wall since 2015... Since I've only been flying racing quads for 2 years, I was curious to see if I could still control it:

Thoughts after two packs:
on 3S it feels massively underpowered, on 4S it starts to barrel roll as soon as you go above 3/4 throttle, the control surfaces have about 10 degrees of play in each direction, it yanks to the right for some reason, probably because something is ripping apart, and I need to get my eyes checked...

But it still flies! I'm impressed. Video of some low passes coming when I can be bothered to edit.
Build it, fly it, crash it, build another.

hi. i am thinking of modifying my F-18-v3. The reason why i write here in the v4 thread is because it seems to me, that the v4 version is the only one of RCP which has leading edge slats (at least according to the photos i have seen in this thread). since RCP plans are history, i would like to ask, if anyone could give me input on how big the slats should be (length x width) and which angle should it be.

thanks!

I converted my V-3 F-18's but it was a while back,I think I extended the upper KF's to over hang and scored and folded them over.I just eye balled it though and I guess I did good becouse it flew awsome.SANY0003.JPG  SANY0001.JPG
