No. Well now that you mention it, a few weeks ago I would notice that sometimes when I turn on my TX then plug the battery in the light would blink. It flew just fine but the light always blinked. I would bring it in, unplug it, turn my TX off then turn my TX back on, plug the battery in and it would be fine. This happened a few times over the past few weeks.

Let me ask you... the AR6200 vs. the AR500... is the only difference the number of pins and the extention?

The rx should blink After doing that. It indicates a powerloss since the tx has been on. It occurs after the rx is rebooted while the tx has remained on the whole time. It wont affect flight however. I think your crash also could have been from overshadowing. I've had this happen at big events on multiple aircraft with all diffrent setups.

Yeah I can do that! Do I want to? Yes. Will I? Probably. Why not then? Because I have a few projects lined up. Why am I asking myself questions? Because I am bored.

When the rx cant see the signal from the tx. The 6100s aernt all that great either it only has one antennea. Yes there are two wires but they act as one.

I taped mine up in brown packaging tape because the crappy shell came off and I wanted to protect the electronics. I am going to do some range tests on it before I toss it to make sure the tape wasn't interferring (totally doubt it was)

Yeah, the tape probibly wouldint do much to it. The spektrum signal can't pass through CF though. Its really bad in CF sailplanes and hotliners.

I wish I could rely on this RX though... I typically only fly my F-22 in a 500 foot radius which is excellent for the AR6100 series. The eurofighter I would fly in twice that radius.

Pretty much. That and the AR500 is cheaper. I've got two AR500s, both in high amp draw applications (60amps and 120amps), and they never fail. The one in my Stryker has been as far as probably about half a mile away. There isn't even a noticeable delay at that range with AR500. It's a great receiver and the receiver I trust most. I've never used the AR6200, but I think it's probably just as reliable. Unless you need 6ch though, I'd just get the AR500 for weight and money savings.

Awesome! Thanks for that review. I don't use 6 channels so this is perfect! Wish they made an even cheaper AR300 that only has 3 channels. That's all I need is 3 channels.

I found this article interesting, not saying this is why your plane went down, but its food for thought.

Okay so check it out... I crashed up my F-22 today but was able to tape it back together...It's real ugly looking now SOooooo...... I took the supposibly faulty RX and put it into my F-22. If it crashes I will know that the RX is faulty. I don't care about crashing the F-22...It has seen its days.

Soooo if it does not crash then I hope I don't have an issue with the ESC or motor that sit in my new SU-37. I should be getting my MJv3 power pack from grayson tomorrow (my 3rd one...yes I will have 3 MJv3's)

Alsoooo.... I should be getting my high speed chip for my camera keychain so I can record Epic Failures :bleh:
