I built this a while ago and just getting to fly it. Super easy build, 2 sheets of DTF is all it takes. Works pretty well. Later in April my club is planning a combat day using these planes. Should be a lot of fun.

Updated video and the speed and sound are now correct.
Take offs are optional, landings are not.

Hi Bob,
as a notoriously lazy builder I do like flying wings and have designed and built quite a few.
I noticed your tip fins were tall and thin and would recommend you make them longer so the high pressure air from the underside of the wing doesn`t rush over the tip to the top of the wing and ruin the low pressure air.
Ideally you want a little bit below the wing and a higher portion on the upper side.
It`s not a criticism, but I think you have stuck your fins on the wrong way, if you need to , just relieve some of the elevon to stop it rubbing.
This ain`t one of my designs it`s just for example

Thanks Bogusbandit

Always open to suggestions. i just built it to the plans I was given. I really like the idea of a shorter fins and it also makes perfect sense to have some below the wing. I will definitely give it a try.

thanks again.

Hi Bob,
I saw the video after I made the comment and it really is a live wire.

For some reason the sound is not synced.

I think the sound is right but the film has speeded up

I think your right. I tried uploading again to Youtube and got the same result. Not sure of the problem I'll have to do some homework to find what I am doing wrong.

I thought I was flying awfully well at that speed!!! Someday maybe.

Hey Bob,
I have noticed a lot of videos out of sync on youtube lately , it may not be something you are doing wrong.

I thought you were flying really fast and then I saw the biplane and thought "that`s not right"

I found the solution. Apparently Youtube does not like the AVI files my camera supplies. I put the video in my video editor , composed it better and re-saved it in a more suitable file format. I updated the first post above with the new vid and it works fine now.

Thanks for catching that.

Great stuff, Bob!
I`m pretty sure if you make the alterations to your vertical fins it will be smoother to fly and more stable in the wind.
