I have wanted a heli but I haven't known to get.
So I was browsing Horizon and I found this new line of "Force" helis.
After looking further I saw that they use a IR receiver transmitter that you can buy from Horizon for 10 buks. Even better, It could work with the 5 channel receivers that is pretty much standard in the UM world.
Really thinking about hooking this up to an UM T 28 or P 51 and dogfighting or maybe a MSR or MCX or... or...

I second that IR sucks.
Landing is just a controlled crash:yes:.

He is talking about an IR dogfighting system, the helis are actually 2.4 not IR controlled...

The helis shoot IR at each other to count hits...

I've actually played with these! The throttle is cut momentarily and they spin downward and recover in like 2 seconds.

Yes, those are the heli's but they can be plugged into the UM parkzone 5 in 1 controller or even the MSR or MCX, which it is based on.
For all of you ranting and raving on IR, I wouldn't even look at it if it were IR.
