what are the dimensions and weight of a standard 6mm depron sheet?
I can only get 3mm depron sheets so i make 6mm out of two with spray contact adhesive to join them
and all my builds exceed the max weight on the RCPowers plans
So just want to compare your sheets with mine
Cheers

I'm surprised that a layer or spray-glue going through the plane adds so much weight!

Ibought my first batch from  http://depronfoam.com/products/ but my second batch came from Amazon. I usually go for sheets that are like 6x1500x900mm or so.

Are you having trouble finding ones that deliver to you?

I live in New Zealand (way down south by Australia) only crowd ive found in NZ with depron only has 3mm sheets 1.8mt x 900mm
so he cuts them down into 900x900 for me and couriers to me
then i spray glue with contact adhesive join press and trim and build
the only strengthening i do is carbon rod/strip or bamboo skewer and glass fibre drywall tape /foamtac style glue no hotglue at all
all my batts are 3S 2200mah so yea iam 80+grams above anyhow
Finishing large F117V2 build
reinforced with drywall tape/foamtac etc instead of skewer rivets still 100g over max weight of plans------

100 grams above weight on the standard sized parkjets should be fine. My Su-34 got loaded up with equipment and fixes and still flew fine, it just had to do everything a couple miles an hour faster.

On my SU34's i use a 4x4 system two metal gear servos running aileron/elevons on one servo per side
so in full up elevons and ailerons are up
real good way to softly parachute to the ground
Use this system pretty much on all my parkjets

There's a guy in Australia sells depron, seen his ads on Ebay and I'm guessing postage would be a lot cheaper for you from there rather than the U.S or Europe

ah try here then, I have bought a few things off this site and postage was no big shakes, they seem to have a big variety in sheet sizes and seeing as depron is very light postage should be cheap
