I have been toying with the idea of a simulator for years but if push came to shove I think I prefer to kick some monsters butt with the mighty swword of megadorn in a strange and far off realm where it didn`t rain every day.
As for real flying, I`ve almost forgot how much fun it is, outside in the fresh air listening to the birds sing, chasing pigeons and avoiding dogs that think it is fun to eat depron models.

One of my aspirations is to eventually build an 'All weather' plane... That would be FPV and controlled from the comfort of my bedroom.

Until then, rainy windy days are sim days. There are some good one's available for free - but you need a good computer to play them. I play DCS world
, which I've bought a few modules (planes) for, and Rise of Flight, which I only fly the free planes on - 'cause as these guys in the vid will show you, it is very hard (but really really fun):

BRB - Building another nosecone.

I don`t think the ground can drain the amount of rain we`ve had.
I was walking round an orchard the other day logging a downed tree and my feet were sinking into the soft earth. It`s crazy!

I'd just popped over after work tonight to do some range tests but wasn't expecting to see that much standing water there!

Quite amusingly there seems to be a couple of ducks taken up residence at the top of the drive too - maybe they know something we don't???

guys,,well I have had a flight sim for quite a few years and would not be without it,i use it every year during the colder or damper times, any other type of game does not interest me,the flight sim is extra useful for rc helicopter practice but believe me that helicopters are hard to fly on the sim as well.I am eagerly waiting to try out modifications to 3 of my multis and I am looking forward to trying an orientation help idea on my trex 500,,thanks to Ian and his good weather link I reckon this w end is looking great for us flyers.
