There doesn´t seem to be any "Time/Date" issues? with my old keychain camera I could never get rid of that date & time. Is it easy to do on the 16 Camera?

Read the start of RCGroups thread on #16 for latest and buy from designer
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1556994

and tie the camera to the plane with elastic band as well as velcro ( ask me how I know! )~~~~H

Did you add this particular section afterwards or did I just no see it the first time I looked? Because having the FPV door open for the future sure seems like a nice feature!

Yeah I added that as an edit. By software options what I mean is that you can adjust the brightness level, the color temperature, saturation etc.

Yeah I know what you mean. On my 808 #11 you can't get rid of the date and time without doing a firmware flash which risks bricking it.
The 808 #16 has a simple setting which allows you to switch date and time off.

I hate the frame rate and processing on those cameras, it's way too slow for the fast action of flying. It's kind of annoying to watch actually, like there's a weird frame skip or or it's in sync with fluorescent lights and it messes with my brain.

Hey airforce, i got mine somewhere april 2012 via an eBay auction.

I had a look and they are more expensive now but 28 euros is still not too bad.

This is basically raw footage just uploaded and a YouTube song..

Thanks guys, looks like I'll be ordering one of these #16's then! Though not the best cam for FPV, I like the fact that I *could* use it for that if I decide to start on the FPV path. For regular onboard camera footage (non-FPV), I sure looks like a nice package for the price.

To all that provided input: thank!

The voice of experience says: I have giant box of things I "could" use for FPV, but they were so bad and unusable that they were left in that box to rot and die, including some of these cameras...

He Airforce,

This camera is nice for onboard footage to begin with and other experimental things.

Fpv is not one of them.

When you are going fpv, get a sony 600 tvl camera for 35 $ and place youre keychain to record.

Have a look at this review.

Thnks Maestro, I saw that review already and made a mental note about the sony camera. Oh well, aI won't FPV for some time to come, so I'll see then if I ever go the FPV route.

I just ordered an 808 #16 D Lens, so let's wait for the doorbell to ring (after Chinese mail and customs have taken their share of time with it)!

Anyone know a waterproof case for this cam, I mean *with* this D Lens which makes the unit a bit larger?
