If you're wise you don't count on a pension, or anything for that matter, and plan your life accordingly. I rely on no one. If everything goes as planned I'll be semi-retiring this year at 49, at the least I'll be working a whole lot less.

Fingers crossed!

Mission accomplished. Bought a house in the Kootenays, where the sky is clear, the water is blue, and the people are happy to see you.

My neighbor lost a ton of weight, the two main things he cut out was grain (bread) and potatoes. Of course like anything it's in proportion also, can I eat 6 burgers , you bet, do I need to, not. . Doctor told him also if you are really hungry have another piece of meat . ( sorry @SukhoiLover )

Grains are bad on the system, but wheat is the worse in the bunch. Especially just getting over a bad cold or something like that.

Welcome to the "other" BC. Your's is a bit more temperate than my Kamloops desert, and more beautiful I think as well!
Looks great.

Arrived home yesterday morn to see 15 bald eagles thermalling in lazy circles at the end of my street, driving back for another load last night we got to watch Keremeous burn.

They'd taken off by the time I'd returned with my camera. Got some pics of the wild turkeys that roost in my trees. Also a bat.

They feast on all the fruit growing in my backyard, and if I want to bag one all ya need is a grey stuffie as bait. One of the big males thought my cat was one of its young and came right up to me, all aggressive till my cat got pissed and chased him away.
