So, IM looking round for a good quality and low cost charger/ balancer. that I can use in the field or at home. and something with a decently fast charge time. any suggestions?

Yes..Thunder AC6 is the best choice..the $22 Turnigy one is a D/C only..so you need a power supply..adding to the cost and PITA of it

I currently have the eflite balance charger and it does the job but I have the thunder ac6 coming in the mail. I've heard nothing but good things about it

The turnigy one that jettamandan is talking about it a great charger. I just got mine and yes you need a power supply but you can just hook it up to a car battery with the adapter that it comes with. I love it and its only 22$ over 56$ for the ac6. It does the same thing! Its from hobbyking heres a link http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7028&Product_Name=Turnigy_Accucel-6_50W_6A_Balancer/Charger_w/_accessories

The ac adapter is worth the cost...I do not want to use a car battery at home...

Dean's connector?

Any idea why they quit putting a Dean's connector on the AC6? What do you guys do for a workaround?
