So I won the mentioned helicopter from Flitetest´s "first in fright" videocontest. Im totally newbie with helis, and Im aware that this isnt the ideal first heli Well I begun flying RC with a scratchbuild EDF so Im not great at choosing my "firsts".

Well heres how it went down:

Iv flown 2 batteries now and Im impressed that Iv been able to that much to be honest, Its wonderous how durable it is. Its certainly good at taking hits

Gotta do more more more on simulator I know, but I couldnt resist since I got it from the mail today.

They sure do skimp on the plastic for the canopies and skids though! My son's mcpx bl canopy was broken the first day. The skids after a few more. And he knows what he is doing (though he does still have lots to learn)

With helis there's always a delicate balance between durability and weight. A heavier heli won't fly for as long, and will wear out its powertrain more quickly. Skids and canopies are easy to get on and off, and by breaking they absorb energy that would otherwise have transferred to expensive or necessary parts. I break canopies on my 450 by just taking it on and off!
Yes, I've known that I'm "different" for some time now...

there are fixes for it on the MCPX...there are better landing gear out there and if you velcro the canopy onto the frame it will reduce the risk of canopy and canopy pin damage...just a fact of life with these fast little guys....

I'm lucky our hobby shop has every single replacement part you can think of. I've already broken 2 tail booms and the skies and they replaced them!

If you were inside your plane... You would never crash.

Really nice video, And also a nice model Very smooth flyer and easier to learn, The remote is quite good . I wish I wouldn't have bought the Ncpx. I don't even fly it anymore and it has under 30 flights on it. I guess i need to be selling it and pick up that model....
