Sorry had to :^D.

It appears that they are hand made and only a few each year. What I read from their page, it seems like you order directly from them.

Installation & Ordering

Only a few of these extraordinary tables are produced each year, being hand crafted in the finest British traditions of furniture making. Each table is truly a one off item, a museum piece of the future, the price for each is dependent on the materials and cost of the construction, which is generally in the tens-of-thousands of pounds.
The installation of this large piece of furniture must also be considered, as it is composed of a number of pieces and has a total weight of about 220 kilos (485 lbs). We can deliver anywhere in the world in a single shipment and then an installation technician, from the UK, completes the assembly on site.
We have no overseas agents, showrooms or installers, nor do we currently seek any.

It appears there's no option of 'self installation', I'm guessing it costs $15k.

when you go to the site and read about the capstan table it CLEARLY says costs 10's of thousands of pounds (UK Currency) so convert the UK pound to USD. Currently the exchange rate is 1 GBP = 1.61324 USD.

So if this table costs "10's of thousands of pounds" that means the cheapest table you can get is $16132.40 excluding shipping assuming the table only costs 10 000 pounds.

In a word: "OUCH"

My CAR probably cost less at $23k Cdn.

But It's definately a fantastic looking table and a great concept. I know I wouldn't turn one down if someone was giving me one...

I guess I will not be getting one for that price. I was thinking $2000 or less.

When I build my own house, I will consider putting one of these in it. It looks awesome.

Going to add that extra $16-30K US to your mortgage to get one?

wait for the patents to expire- itll come from China (or the US?) for $799.99 and be sort of as good -- pretty unique screw / cam mechanism- might be hard to do cheaper
more football watchin time, at thanksgiving when the leaves need to be put in the table, the little woman does it all by herself --we hunters / gatherers remain in our vegetative state
