Hi there everyone from the forums. ^_^

I was wondering if anyone has or know of any other plans/designs like the RCPowers hydro-jet or Air Hogs' Storm Launcher? If so could any of you post a link or forum thread, please? I mean something like goes on water, land, and air. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance to all who replies back. ^_^

Try This. The Polaris is a very popular plane which could do those things.

Thank you. I saw that one (the pollaris) design before. I forgot about it. That will be one I would consider building/making for myself. ^_=

Any other suggestions?

Have you tried finding something on RCGroups?

CrstnJdi,

You may or may not be interested in this but a few years back (maybe more) RCPowers had a good looking seaplane called the “ICON A5”.

I have the pdf plans that were included with their older RC course I purchased sometime back.

I always liked the looks of the ICON A5 but I never got around to building it because it was a Bizzy build with lots of parts and reports were that it just never flew very well.

F1 made some suggestions for improving its flight but don’t know if anything ever came of that effort.

I would buy an improved, better flying ICON A5 if RCP came out with one,... “HINT, HINT”

AND if enough folks were interested it might make it worth their while to come up with a new version, who knows.

Their Hydro-Plane is great and an Icon A5 seaplane would be a very nice addition to their fleet as a seaplane would be something different to fly.

Anyway here is a link on the A5 and F1’s video of him flying the ICON.

If you ask nicely it “might” be possible to get a copy of the plans. Never hurts to be polite and ask.

I do have that one, and thought about it as well. I'll consider the Icon5 on a next project. I do like it though, the design. I just need to make sure its water tight and all the seals , sealed. ^_=

I would like to go back through the original icon A5 build thread but it won’t pull up for some reason.

They must have it blocked or deleted.

It would be nice to go back and look at the old scratch build thread for a few tips and tricks from those that built it as there isn’t any formal support for the plane at all for obvious reasons.

So if you/we build the old RCP icon your truly on your own.

Wow! That's even better, and more like I'm looking for: a racing boat/airplane. Just like the storm launcher by SPIN MASTER. ^_^

Thanks for posting and sharing. ^_^

Do you know where I could find the plans for the Mako, by chance?

Another is the drongo. It will take off in snow, water and grass. I have used it on all three conditions. Beside, it looks totally different with the motor mount pointed down. If you don't keep the same angle, it will not fly. Increased the water rudder so it gave excellent control in taxing around in water. Rate it a 9 out of ten.

Here is off the snow.

Thank you for the reply and suggestion, but which one of the ones submitted would be the easiest to both operate on water and in the air?
