it was really nice as electric but I no longer have any batterys for it,it was using 5s 5000 and funds didn't run to getting any more and I had the engine, its just nice to have it flying again.

Looks really smooth.

Nothing fancy but it has landing gear. It came off my Shoestring plane, few dabs of hotglue so easy replacement if the plane flies.

Jeff, if you have an imbalance you should try to make sure both wings balance equal or you will have some nasty handling problems with this low wing warbird. it will not be as forgiving as the foamies you have been building.
It looks more like the FW 190 than the BF109.

I think I have the lateral balance spot on. FW190 does look like a closer match with some of the body lines.

Well I didn't crash it, broke off a wheel attempting to taxi and take off, just didn't want to pull straight under low throttle so maybe it just didn't want to be in the firepit yet. It's life has just been extended.

Will build some different landing gear and install a rear tail dragger wheel and see if it pulls straight.

Build some toe-in to keep it on the straight and narrow

What happened, tip stall tricky to fly????
This is why old war birds have a bad reputation and why I was so pleased with how well the PI P 40 flew.

The P40 and even my Corsair F4N fly really good . The Messersmidt didn't even make it off the ground, wandered right and the wing clipped the cage
