So.. it has finally happened.. I've ordered me a 3D printer which is something I had wanted to do for quite a few years :$ It arrived yesterday I am very very excited I do expect to run into some hurdles, but that's
okee & to be expected

The printer I chose: Creality CR-10 (30x30x40cm)

In this topic, or rather my series of video's, I'll take you along in my journey into 3D printing. This Should servo to illustrate how easy / hard it is to get from a cardboard box to a functional print

Nozzle diameter: Default 0.4mm, one 0.3mm nozzle for free

I really like the frame on those, they seem really sturdy and tight. They have some like that at a printing shop here in town.

I can see the worlds landfills full of misshapen vases and foxes, I hope these items can be recycled

Ghehe I'll tell you this: That IS a concern to me indeed.. I don't want to be the next 3D printing nerd that prints all kinds of useless stuff.. just because I can :$

Having said that though: one does need to calibrate the printer / get to know it..

I had to google it to see if it can be done, fortunately for the sea life in the Pacific rim it can with ABS at least.
Now I will be able to sleep at night without the fear of waking up to a world full of mishaped vases and unwanted foxes

Different brands and even different colors in the same brand can print different.

Filastruder but in most cases if people place them in proper garbage it will end up being recycled what ends up in land fills is human fault for not putting it in proper bin Do you not have a recycle program where you live ??
