Is the 808 the 8g HD or removable memory card version?

Some reading material for you:

I don't know... I know it can take one. All that reading material is too confusing. I just want to know if I need a special faster loading SD card or if it needs to have some sort of update installed on it.

Try format the card into Fat 32

or

Move file to the hard drive - If the video or audio is jumpy, slow, choppy or stutters, this could be due to a flash write problem, or a playback problem. If a playback problem, move the file to the computer hard drive and play it there.

A 2g or 4g card is sufficient, i don't think a 8g will work on the key fob cam.

The 8g key fob is the one with in built memory, no SD card slot. This cam is very slow and should be avoided, i have 2...Dohh !! I do use them but the SD ones are better.

1G will get you about 20 min video, 2g nearly an hour, now, the battery only lasts 1 hour, so, 2g is plenty, 4g is if you can't be bothered downloading the video every week, and 6g is guna get you 3-4 hours of video, this is just a rough estimation mind from using mine.

I have had a lot of luck with the $5 2g cards from Radio Shak. Never had a problem with these.

Another good idea is to get a Micro SD adapter and use that, don't use the lead that came with the cam, it is Crrrap, use a good photo USB lead.
