I tried a couple of their 100amp esc's, both crapped out, 1 in the first flight.

40A I have had good success with the HK ones, price was not bad but you got dinged for shipping. I did reciev an email from them stating orders over $50.00 free shipping, haven't read their stipulations though.

I have tried and so far good luck with these from Banggood.

That's the esc I use,No problems at all.I was useing Turnigy and have four of them but I don't like paying large shiping charges for something that comes in an envalope that should only cost $0.50 to mail.

I just received four RCX 40a HV escs. They're cheap ($9), well made, and capable of 6s. Only bench-tested so far, they look a bit like a Plush, and they're NOT opto. These have 3A worth of regulators on them (room for a 4th) and will power an RX easily. Really like their motors too. The hi-end ones (meaning under $20) are built as well as SunnySkys with quality guts. Check the soldering on the bullets tho, my first was a friday build and had a shoddy joint one one, and a bit of splatter to clean out of the windings. The three I got today look prime, these are a real cheap way to break into 6s if you have a pair of 3s 2200s (who doesn't?).

Also, MyRCmart ships really fast, put my order in on the 21st, got it today for $18 shipping. Not bad for a kilo of prime rc parts

Apparently $9 is too cheap for a 6s esc, these just stutter at that voltage. Working fine on 3s, and they appear to be a DYS/RCT clone. Some Emax ones on order now.

I have used Mystery (and quite a few others!) with no problem.
The only advice I can give is with any cheap(er) ESC is that being built down to a price treat their Amp rating with caution. Give yourself a 'real' 25% headroom. In other words use a Watt meter to check what the plane's max current really is using an over size 'test' ESC and size the 'working' ESC accordingly.
As a process this may sounds a bit 'over kill' but it does virtually eliminate ESC failure.

The 2 100A ones I bought which failed almost right away when I took them apart there was so much spatter inside it was like someone was arc welding in there. Some of the spatter was loose so I gather pieces shorted it out, needless to say they wouldn't warranty them so I will not buy another one.
