Oh for crying out loud, there are a thousand B connectors.

They do make adaptors usb to usb-b.

Plug that into a basic usb extender cable and into your pc.

Another method that I use is to run repeatier server or octoprint on a raspberry pi board. Connect ethernet or wireless to your PC and usb into the printer control board.
That is the most bizarre looking but functional adapter that I have ever seen, and the end on the right,,is the right one . I find it crazy that somebody has designed that but hasn't made one with usb mini b male connector as an sd card reader. Thanks for your input TomMorton, much appreciated.

I've even used usb to usb mini b to an OTG ( on the go) adapter to stream camera video to my cell phone. Pictured is my mobius setup.

Using the OTG ....into my phone I can run betaflight, inav and pixhawk mission controller and PID apps.

Lots of cool things can be connected via USB stuff

With a mini usb to mini usb null modem (OTG adapter) you can run a serial data terminal session. I use this to talk to a flight controller in the field if I need to.

... and it will even charge the phone while connected in most instances.
Fly like your mad at it.
