2) Where are the instructions for my PDF plane?
All the instructions for each kit are located at our Forum site as the second post in its PDF thread. Click the picture from our main site to go to more info on that RCPowers plane, or HERE to view the PDF Forum thread list.
If you have any specific build questions you can email our PDF plan guy Scott: RCSPowers.ScottL@gmail.com

3) What's the best beginner plane?

We get this question alot and here is the best most cost effective choices in our opinion:
Option A, READY TO FLY PACKAGE: Buy a $20 RC Flight Simulator and get your crashing over with! A simulator is going to save you so much money in the long run. We have a VIDEO HERE on how this works so well.
Get the Wild Hawk! It comes with everything you need and is the best beginner plane we have ever seen. It can also be upgraded as you get better!

OptionB, BUILD YOUR OWN SCRATCH BUILD: We still highly recommend getting the $20 RC Flight Simulator of course. Then try the free Extra 300 PDF plan build as well as a list of what it needs on the page. We also highly recommend the GRAYSON SUKHOI because its made out of invincible EPP foam, comes with all the hardware, and a motor/ESC combo (You still have to buy the radio, servos, prop separately).
To learn more about RC planes see our Beginner Classes!

4) What electronics should I get for my plane?
If you are buying one of our PDF Plan planes just scrooool down on that page. There is a list of recommended items there.
If you are buying a ARF or RTF there should also be a list on the page as well. Just scroll down and look close. If you still have questions and need an answer right away, check out our forum threads on power supplies HERE!

5) Build tips? Paint, control surfaces, carbon rods, etc.
  See this class here!

See THIS VIDEO for more info on paint.

6) Will this motor/battery/servo work on my plane?
The chances are "yes" that motor/batter/servo etc you have already will "work" on your new plane... How well it will work is another question. What I would recommend is 2 things:
A) If its a motor, make sure it can swing the right size prop and has the correct kv for it. We explain this in our Power Systems Ebook as well as our Beginner RC Video Classes:
Part 1 - Part 2.
B) I say try putting what you have on the plane first. If you don't like the performance you can always upgrade later.
See THIS VIDEO for more info

7) How do I set up my radio for elevons, flaperons, spoilerons, etc?
Sorry, there is no easy answer for this one! This very tricky the first time and is hard to figure out but once you got it, its easy. We did some classes on how to set up your radio and what the functions do:
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3
See THIS VIDEO for more info.

8) How do I put a GYRO on my plane?
We have done a few videos on this subject. Please see ALL OF THEM to get an idea of how this works:
These are the GYROS I use.

See this DIAGRAM HERE!
How to set your gyros up VIDEO.
More info in the Wild Hawk VIDEO.

9) How did you do the smoke on the F-22 video?
We coated the wingtips with aluminum duct tape. It was a one time thing that did not go so well. We don't recommend it. We got the smoke bombs form HERE from Hobby-Lobby (we used the small ones).
Also, see the funny OUTAKE VIDEO HERE of us trying to get this to work!
See THIS VIDEO for more info.
