Part 2: How to NOT set up your camera

We have been making RC videos for a few years now and never really had a small on board RC camera. We have always been keeping an eye out for a good one, but nothing really met all the demands we needed. We heard good things about this camera from RCPlaneCams and thought we would try it out. Here are the things I really like about this camera:

- It records in high quality video.
- It also takes pictures as well as video.
- Its light weight enough to fit on most of my planes (only 4.3oz).
- The servo wire extension modification that it comes with is very handy. It allows me to start and stop filming with the flick of a switch on my radio!
- It can zoom in and out as well as auto and manual focus.
- It can film and store more video that even we need. I don't have to worry about it getting full when we are on a roll at the field. Additional removable graphics cards are available.
- I can also put two AA batteries in it and use it for a normal everyday camera. This right here saves us money in the long run cause we get two cameras in one.
- What is especially nice, is that the owner of RCPlaneCams, Daniel, is easy to get a hold of and helped me with the questions I had.
- The shipping on this camera is FREE!
- They have a 100% satisfaction rating on RCGroups.com!

Dave's Flight Tips:
  1) Make sure to have your auxiliary channel set up to "0-100". Watch the camera set up video on this page for more on that.
2) Be sure to push the graphics card all the way into the camera tight! Don't let it trick you, it needs to be pushed down real good.
3) If you are going to be sharing it on the Internet, be sure to go into the settings and put it to "Web HQ".
